Flower Girl 1st Birthday Cake and Cuppies!

Here are some pictures of a cake and cupcakes I did for a first birthday. Check out my new acrylic stand that my co-worker made for me! Pretty neat, huh? I'm pretty proud of this round. Both the cake and cupcakes were vanilla cake with mint buttercream and fondant flowers color-coordinated to the birthday girl's outfit.

Here We Go!

The time has come. We have outgrown our little condo on the lake. We met with our realtor last night and today we are taking all the "stuff" out of our house so it can look bigger (good luck with that, Ms. Realtor!). Next week we go on the market! It's an exciting and scary time. Do we look for our dream home? Do we rent? Do we save to build? So many questions! The house is a mess right now, which is making me a bit bristly but we have some tasks at hand:

1) Finish gathering all the "stuff" and get it into bins.

2) Take bins over to my mother's house to store. (Thanks, Mom!!)

3) Make a cake and cupcakes for a party of 20 tomorrow.

It was really great to have Rachael here this Easter! We all colored eggs for the first time and had so much fun! For some reason, Griffin just loves vinegar, so it was really hard keeping his little fingers out of the egg dye! Mr. Man was all over the place but we had some fun family time!
